Military reunions do more than bring Veterans together—they reconnect those who shared extraordinary experiences, rebuild lifelong friendships, strengthen support networks, and remind Veterans they are never alone. At a time when Veteran suicide continues to claim far too many lives, those connections matter. Reunions provide understanding, camaraderie, and hope that cannot be replicated anywhere else.
Reunite
The Reunion Assistance Fund (RAF) exists for one purpose—to provide financial assistance that helps military reunions start, survive, and thrive. By removing financial barriers, RAF enables more Veterans to reconnect with the people who shared their military journey and the lifelong bonds forged through military service. Every reunion preserved is another opportunity to strengthen connections, combat isolation, and help save the lives of those who once stood shoulder to shoulder in service to our nation.

Why It Matters
Military reunions are far more than social gatherings—they reconnect Veterans, strengthen support networks, and most importantly, reduce isolation.
The Military Reunion Network’s Veteran survey found that nearly 75% of respondents said attending a military reunion had a positive impact on their mental health. Many shared that those benefits lasted “until the next reunion,” “to this day,” or “never went away.” Military reunions also increased communication between Veterans long after the reunion ended through phone calls, email, social media, and personal visits.
Because when military reunions survive, the connections that matter most survive with them.
