Help a Veteran Reconnect Others
Military reunions don’t happen on their own. Behind every reunion is a Veteran who volunteers countless hours planning, organizing, fundraising, and coordinating the event that reconnects friends who served together.
Many of these Veterans have never received formal training in reunion planning. The MRN Reunion Planners Summit is the only educational conference dedicated exclusively to military reunion planning. Attendees gain practical knowledge, valuable resources, and direct access to hospitality professionals who understand the unique needs of military reunions. Particapants return home better prepared to strengthen their reunion organization and create meaningful opportunities for fellow Veterans to reconnect.
Unfortunately, some Veterans simply cannot afford to attend. The Reunion Assistance Fund helps remove financial barriers, thereby assuring that dedicated Veterans have access to the education and resources they need.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Sponsor a Veteran — $350
A gift of $350 sponsors a Veteran and Guest to attend MRN Reunion Planners Summit, and covers:
- Overnight accommodations (Veteran and Guest in the same room)
- Group meals
- Conference materials
Travel to and from the Summit is not included in the $350 sponsorship.
Provide Travel Reimbursement — Up to $500
For many Veterans, travel costs are the greatest obstacle to attending the Summit. Donors may help provide up to $500 in approved travel reimbursement for a Veteran and guest, and helps offset eligible transportation expenses associated with attending the Summit.
Travel reimbursement will be provided in accordance with RAF policies and approved by the RAF Board of Directors.
Your Investment Has Lasting Impact
When you sponsor a Veteran, you’re doing far more than helping someone attend a conference. You’re investing in the future of military reunions, preserving lifelong friendships forged through military service, and strengthening organizations that reconnect Veterans year after year.
MRN research has shown that military reunions can positively affect Veterans’ mental health and encourage continued connections long after the reunions end. By sponsoring one Veteran, you make those meaningful connections possible for many more.
